The Eye
The eye is the centre of the cyclone and is either partially or completely covered by the eyeball cloud. The average diameter of the eye can be up to 20 miles. The calm that occurs during the passage of the eye does not last long as strong winds will soon strike again from the opposite direction and increase in intensity again.
